Victoria Hall - Stoke on Trent

We were approached by a local charity to help raise some funds via a paranormal investigation. We felt that a return visit to the Hall would be the most interesting.
And interesting it was with activity kicking off on arrival when a lot of our equipment inexplicably lost power. All equipment affected had been given fresh batteries and were tested before arrival. This continued throughout the night and moved onto equipment malfunctions such as no walkie talkies picking up signals from any other walkie talkies although the later proved to work during breaks.
The night once again proved interesting with sensory information provided by new team members that tallied in with previous investigations, and expounding further in one case, the Victorian Staircase, with a possible malignant spirit present. Once again however, we were surprised by the amount of audio and visual evidence we collected ranging from light anomalies (a Victorian Staircase vigil provided nearly 20 on camcorder alone!) to the audio captures of a male laugh and a man whispering "leave me alone" in the auditorium and finally, smells of chocolate, beer, tobacco, pencil lead, oil, mould and cooking. Some teams saw mists that were unfortunately undetected on camera. We also captured on film a tapping sound coming from the plastic housing of a telephone in a dressing room as if a person was physically tapping on it with their fingernail.
