  History

The Sneyd Arms has been present on this land as a pub for well over 100 years. The pub has been linked with mining for many a year with several old mines in the area, the building was a popular hub for miners.

  Investigation

SPG investigated this location in January 2005. The team picked up on several pieces of activity. A dog was picked up in the kitchen and this lead our psychics to believe that the kitchen itself was not part of the original building and was probably an outhouse in the past. The energy in the kitchen resulted in temperature and humidity changes as well as affecting several team members.
A spirit was picked up in the cellar who was either a landlord or cellar worker who died of natural causes in 1856. Normally we do not give specific details on these pages so as not to contaminate future investigations by other teams. On this occasion though, we have included it due to the footage on the left of the page. This footage shows a pub till seemingly operating itself, most noticeably continual pressing of the 5 and 6 buttons...could this be the male energy attempting to communicate? Indeed before this recording several team members reported seeing a shadow of a man in the area of the till.
Several other energies were picked up all of which seem to be people who used to frequent the pub, both male and female energies from as far back as the 1880s to the last few years.
