Sinai House - Burton on Trent |
Sinai House can be found on the outskirts of Burton on Trent in East Staffordshire. The property dates from the medieval period and is a listed building. Currently undergoing restoration the property was originally two individual houses that have since been joined together. Although part of the house is derelict the completed portion is currently in use as a private dwelling. The house boasts some excellent and extensive gardens and grounds with a small dock, a moat surrounding the house that can be crossed via a small, picturesque bridge the surface of which is grassed. The house is reputed to once have housed monks who would travel there for a ritual known as blood letting which was thought to help cleanse the body.
Unfortunately for this investigation SPG had access to the grounds, cellar and kitchen only. As a result of this, any visual and audio evidence we captured had to be discounted. Our psychic team members did however pick up on several energies. The most intriguing is that several members picked up on children in the property - either playing in the grounds or helping out in a farm environment. It was felt there had been a fire in the building at some point and that there had been a duel between two men over a woman that resulted in one man's death. The woman who had been involved was felt to roam the grounds in grief. |
